Everyone is welcome! It doesn't matter whether you have just finished school, are in the middle of your studies, have already gained professional experience or come from a completely different field. The main thing is that you are over 18 years old, have a German health insurance and are interested in startups & entrepreneurship.
You want to volunteer but for legal reasons we will have to employ you. You will be hired for a short-term period (kurzfristige Beschäftigung) during the event. You will also receive a salary for your work. Other types of employment such as permanent employment or freelance are not possible.
We are very happy if you come to us from outside of Munich. To help you with accommodation, we will add you to our Couch Surfing Community. If you need tips for places to stay, feel free to contact us. However, no travel or accommodation costs for volunteers will be covered.
Yes, as a volunteer you will receive a ticket for the event you are volunteering for a highly reduced rate. This rate will be significantly lower than the salary you will receive for your work. This way your attendance will be cost-neutral for you. Outside the shift times you can experience the entire festival area and see everything. Caution: We fully understand if you absolutely want to experience certain content of the event. We therefore point out that we don’t accept intentional disruptions to the operational process. If you put your job first with us, then you are very welcome in the team.
You can expect to invest a total of 14 hours in volunteering on-site. Please keep the festival days and the afternoon before for our joint on-site briefing free. Due to logistics, we unfortunately cannot accommodate individual appointments or availability.
